This is not a party house or suburb The house is yours to use to ensure you have a wonderful stay. It’s modern, luxurious, stylish, and well-equipped throughout. Nothing has been spared in the fit-out, we use it ourselves, we love to entertain so we want it to be perfect. All furnishings are new and top shelf, from the cutlery drawer to the hotel quality linen, there’s no flat pack here and it’s not your typical Airbnb all within less than an hour and a half from Sydney. If you enjoy open plan living and the seamless connection between the indoors and outdoors this is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The spacious indoor lounge has two new sofas which will comfortably seat eight and two occasional chairs plus two indoor/outdoor bean bags for maximum comfort. There is air conditioning to keep you comfortable in summer and a gas fireplace for warmth and to create ambiance in the winter, just sit back and relax. For the Sports and Netflix fans, the TV is a 70” Smart TV so you won’t miss a thing. The kitchen is well stocked and stylishly appointed, we expect you should have all the necessities required. We have supplied a new Nespresso coffee pod machine. We will supply you with a dozen pods to get you started and if you love your coffee, we suggest you bring some additional Nespresso compatible pods or you can purchase from the local Woolworths which is a short 10 min drive away. The house is set up for outside entertainment with a fabulous Octagonal table to ensure you can all sit around and come together for meals or an afternoon drink. There is a new 6 Burner BBQ with an outdoor kitchen which enables easy entertaining. Did we mention the outdoor fridge, you’ll have plenty of room to keep the Champagne chilled. If you are an early riser, we highly recommend grabbing a blanket and heading to the outdoor lounge to watch the magnificent sunrises. The bedrooms are set up for maximum comfort with new mattresses and hotel-quality linen. You’ll find wardrobes in every bedroom to allow you to keep your belongings organised. The main bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with a walk-in wardrobe and private ensuite. The 2nd & 3rd Bedrooms both have Queen beds and are on either side of the main bathroom. The 4th bedroom has been set up with two sets of bunks. All king singles to ensure that extra space for kids of all ages. There is an extra toilet off the kitchen next to the laundry to ensure there is plenty of facilities for you and your guests. There is plenty of space to enjoy a game of soccer or cricket outside on the grass area between the house and lake, there is a park nearby, a fenced swimming area, and beaches all within a short 10 min drive. Running and Cycling The area is great for runners and cyclists alike with both tracks, trails, and off-road pathways. Water sports You’re welcome to use the kayak, Stand up paddle, and Boogie boards. The boat ramp and jetty are approx. 100 m from the house. Fishing Lake Macquarie is a recreational fishing haven and is one of the largest coastal saltwater lakes in Australia home to a wide range of fish including bream, dusky flathead, and sand whiting. We’ve also spotted fishermen coming to shore with the occasional blue swimmer crab. There is plenty of parking off-street, in the driveway and garage. The local shops are a short 10 - 12 minutes stroll less than 800m away. It's peaceful, quiet and relaxing, the people are friendly and relaxed. It's strictly not a party house or area Driving here is the best way around
