Originally a barn,This cottage was converted in 1930s.The cottage has a lovely private garden and sits on a quite lane in the picturesque village of Great Rissington.The village benefits from the Lamb Inn pub which is 2/3 mins from the cottage. There are numerous country walks right from the doorstep. The Space: Living Area. The ground floor has a country cottage feel with a kitchen,hall and a open plan living & dining area. The living area has a woodburner set in to the cotswold stone fireplace with a window seat looking out into the garden & bird table. There are two 2 seater sofas & a footstool, A smart tv with Netflix etc.. and a selection of games & books. The oak top dining table has 4 chairs and is extendable. Kitchen. Our shaker style kitchen has an electric rangemaster cooker, Fridge, Freezer, Washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine & Microwave. The cooker has a grill but there is a toaster also available. There is an outhouse adjacent to the kitchen accessed via the outside door which has a large fridge freezer available at Christmas time. There is also a tumble drier, This area can also be used for wet clothes, Boots etc.. It also ideal for bike storage which you may wish to bring with you. There is a garage at the rear of the property accessed via the private drive to the right of the cottage. Your parking space is the righthand side, One car in the garage & car behind in tandem. Please only leave your car here during your stay. Please do not park on the drive as this is an access for other properties. If you walk back down drive access to the cottage is through a small gate on the right hand side. Please see the map in the photo section, Please take care as there are steps to rear & front doors. In the key safe is a back door key & 2 keys for the front door. The village 3 miles from the famous Bourton on the Water, and within easy driving distance of Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh & Burford. Further afield you have Oxford, Stratford & Bath, Kingham station is also nearby. The location also has several golf courses within easy reach. A well behaved dog is welcome, We do not allow dogs on the beds. A supplement of £20.00 is required.
