Located on the most south-westerly edge of Sheffield in the beautiful village of Dore within a stones-throw of the Peak District. With its heather-covered moors, craggy edges and abundant reservoirs the Dark Peak offers something for everyone. Within a mile of Dore and Totley Station on the main line from Sheffield to Manchester our annex apartment is an ideal base to explore the outdoors, local villages and the city. Fully equipped and in walking distance of many great pubs and restaurants. Fully self-contained annex with private entrance adjoining our main house. Fully equipped kitchen, newly refurbished shower room, large airy lounge with Chesterfield sofa, TV, feature gas fire, dining area and private french doors onto patio area and large garden shared with the owners. Double bedroom with lots of storage and natural light. Parking space provided on the drive in front of the annex. The property can accommodate an infant or baby. A travel cot and high chair are provided. We have a very friendly cat who may pay a visit if the french doors to the garden are open. Hosts will be contactable by text/phone and in person if available. Happy with guest interaction. Guests may be greeted on arrival, otherwise keys will be available in a secure key box at the annex. Dore village is in walking distance as are a number of traditional pubs, inns and restaurants. Takeaways, fish and chips and independent sandwich shop in the village. Small Tesco and Co-op nearby. Bus stop very nearby providing access into Sheffield city and out to the Peak District. Train station just under 1 mile away on the main line from Sheffield to Manchester. A walk/cycle ride into the nearby Peaks. Bikes could be accommodated in the kitchen by prior agreement. Washing machine and tumble drier could be made available by special request. Some basic breakfast provisions are included to get you going.
