There is a play ground ,tennis court ,fishing pond and a public swimming pool all in close walking distance. There is a bus that travels from Ballarat to Skipton daily enroute to Warnambool. Everything is in walking distance of the town. The rail trail begins in Skipton which has a spectacular walk or ride through small towns to Ballarat, 48 kms away. The back yard is a work in progress , so not great for kids to play in at the moment , a playground is 300mtrs up the hill.
