Children will love Brockholes Nature Reserve, Bowland Wild Boar Park and the Roman museum at Ribchester. There is also a dry ski slope nearby at Pendle. Only 2 miles from the door, is the fabulous market town of Clitheroe, offering a great selection of shops, pubs and eateries, not to mention a castle with a maze and a museum.
