Luxury Farmhouse Retreat for friend & family stays
Home Farm offers a luxury retreat for groups of friends & families wanting to get together and enjoy a peaceful break away. Our 300 year old Farmhouse offers all the charm of a rural property, with wooden beams, log fire and one acre of garden space, plus the luxury of modern features inc hot tub, gym room and pool table. With five bedrooms we can comfortably sleeps 10 adults, with additional space for infants. Tucked away in the countryside, it’s the perfect place for a rural retreat. Set across three floors, our recently renovated Farmhouse is packed full of charm and wonderful features, beautiful surroundings set in a peaceful and quiet location. Tastefully decorated, we’ve tried to think of every home comfort, with luxury kitchen, living space, bathrooms, soft furnishings and lots of things to make Home Farm a great social space for entertaining. Guests have use of the whole house with plenty of space to host ten adults across five bedrooms, with all rooms having extra space for infants or small children who can stowaway if guests bring extra sleeping mats. Enjoy relaxing in the main central orangery which overlooks the south facing garden, patio and hot tub. This is the main room where all the socialising happens with kitchen, dining space and garden sofa seating. All socialising at Home Farm starts with drinks around the kitchen island, before dining outside on the patio or around the dining table. When dinner’s done the kitchen table converts to use as a ping pong, pool or snooker table which is set in front of the inglenook fireplace. Through to the snug there’s two large sofas, wood burning stove and mega TV with Sky, Netflix, Prime and DVD. There’s even a karaoke machine for our diva guests. For active guests you can enjoy use of our small home gym room featuring a treadmill, rowing machine, x trainer and bike, plus tv and space for workouts (exercise DVDs also included!). On the ground floor for additional convenience the downstairs cloakroom features a walk in wet room shower, proving a fourth bathroom space which is handy for guests who want to shower after using the gym or hot tub outside. Outside the south facing garden is huge enough to enjoy a kick around or rounders game, or just enjoy lazing on the patio furniture, sun beds or in the hot tub. During your stay Home Farm’s owners Rachel & Tracy will be closeby in the adjoining Annex so can help with anything you need to make your stay perfect, but otherwise you can enjoy the complete privacy of the space to make it a perfect get away. There could be some flexibility around availability and pricing to that listed on our AirBnB profile, so please drop us an enquiry and let us know what you need. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. If extra room is required it may be possible to also request use of the Annex which hosts two guests, at an additional charge. We respect our guests privacy so we’ll leave you to enjoy the space, but we’re happy to help you with anything you need during your stay. Home Farm is easily reached from all parts of the country making it a great location for family and friends to gather. Just ten minutes from the M42, but also not far from the M1 and M6 we’re located in rural North Warwickshire not far from our nearest market town of Atherstone. On our doorstep are a wealth of attractions and lovely places to visit for groups, including Twycross Zoo, Drayton Manor, Bosworth Battlefield, Calke Abbey, Conkers, the Alpaca Farm and the NEC. We’re also a great location for a group of guests who may be visiting to enjoy weddings at Mythe Barn which is just one mile away. We’re also in a great location for lots of lovely walks and visits to tea shops! Lots of tea shops! Check out our Guidebook for our favourite recommendations. Although we’re only three miles from Atherstone and access to the west coast main Trainline to Euston, our rural location means getting to Home Farm is best with your own car. We have parking in front of Home Farm for four cars with further parking at the rear of the property. An EV 7kw charger is available for electric cars at a small addition charge subject to use. We’re a pet friendly family so are happy to accommodate guests with up to two dogs. One of the huge benefits of visiting us is that we’re in a very quiet location. However we do have a couple of neighbours who live in our lane so we ask guests to minimise noise in the outdoor space and requests guests don’t bring fireworks or make noise outside after 11pm.
