Private studio with separate bathroom, patio, hilltop location, a few minutes walk to centre of town with cafes, shops, M-Arts creative space, cinema and markets. Short drive to Tweed Regional Gallery, 20 mins to beaches (40 mins to Byron Bay), 25 mins to Gold Coast and airport. Studio is separated from our heritage house by a covered walkway to your own bathroom and toilet. There is a full size fridge, microwave (no cooktop), coffee maker, aircon, Wi-Fi, parking, Netflix, DVD player. Elevated above town in quiet green residential area. Lovely circuit walk further up the hill to a BBQ area. Five minute walk down into town full of heritage and art deco buildings. Lots of cafes and boutique shops. Town has two pubs in walking distance and one across the bridge right on the Tweed River. Scenic country drives to the lovely villages of Tumbulgum, Burringbar, Mooball, Tyalgum, Uki, Chillingham, all within half an hour and all have great eating places and cute shops. Brochures in the studio and tourist information centre in town of many things to do in the local area including Husk Farm Distillery and river cruises at Tumbulgum, boutique Earth Beer at Cudgen, cheese factory and shops at Burringbar. Walking down into town is easy, walking back up is good exercise.
