Chanticleer Garden’s Barn/Cottage, Arcadia/Dural

Chanticleer Gardens Barn/Cottage, Arcadia, is a private two bedroom converted barn situated at the rear of the beautiful Chanticleer Gardens’ country property. It is separate from the main house and is a lovely space for a retreat, a holiday, or a small celebratory occasion such as high tea, picnic, wedding or family gathering. Accommodation allows 6 -8 people overnight on the property and up to 16 visitors during daytime hours, 10-6pm. Both vaxxed and non-vaxxed are welcome. The Barn/cottage comfortably sleeps 6 -8 people, when the Cockatoo Suite is converted from a king into 4 singles. Great for the bridesmaids or extra family members. We allow up to 16 visitors to the property during daylight hours, with further accommodation for 3 in The Fountain Suite, which is attached to the main house. Chanticleer Gardens cannot be hired for a party but small celebratory occasions such as a bridal shower, small weddings, high teas or group picnics are permissible. It comes with full kitchen, great for catering and main bathroom and ensuite.Two toilets. The large covered wrap around verandah is an ideal space with lime washed trestle tables and chairs. The Barn/cottage is accessible by following the driveway, past the main house and the garages until you come to the rear of the property where you park near the rustic farm gate. Keys are in the back of the door. This accommodation is designed to be wheelchair and disability accessible. We live in the main house on the property, so are available most of the time.. The pool which is a shared area is only for our guests. Hours are from 11am to 5pm during the summer months. No occasions can be held around the pool. This rural country retreat is within 50 minutes drive to central Sydney. 25 minutes drive to 2 train lines We require a list of visitors and their contact details for Covid tracing purposes. The pool is unavailable for visitors to the property. This is strictly for use of the overnight guests who are staying. The pool is situated separately near the main residence. Pool hours 10am -5pm.
