Modern Mountain Studio

Come and relax in our studio room with a beautiful mountain view. The studio room is attached to our main house but we won’t be there when you are so you have the outdoor patio, fire pit, and serenity all to yourself. There is a Room and Board pull out couch, comfortable egg chair, mini kitchen with mini fridge, keurig coffee maker, and a microwave. The full bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower. There is an outdoor grill, fire pit and seasonal outdoor shower. There are many scenic hikes nearby This studio room has a Room and Board pull out couch, a cozy egg chair, a kitchenette with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and cook top. The room opens out onto our patio where you can relax, grill, play frisbee and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. There is a bathroom with a shower in the room. Our main house is attached to the room but you we won’t be there when you are so you can enjoy the quiet all to yourself. Guests do not have access to the main house. Guests have access to their private room and bathroom, grill, patio and seasonal outdoor shower. We will not be there when you are so please message through AirBnB with any questions. The Modern Mountain Studio room is located in Fort Valley VA, which is a valley within the Shenandoah Valley. Hike the close by Woodstock Tower to see the breathtaking views. George Washington National Forest is all around and has many beautiful hikes. Two of our favorites are The Kennedy Peak Trail and Buzzard Rock. The area is pretty remote but the Fort Valley Country Store is within a ten minute drive. You can get general provisions, sandwiches, ice cream and wine/beer. You will need a car to get to and around our house. The house is surrounded by wildlife including bears, turkeys, foxes etc. Please do not leave food or trash outside the room. The dump is a very quick drive from our house.
