My house is near the famous Tule Tree. You'll love it because you be in touch with nature close to tourist attractions in the beautiful valley of Oaxaca between Tule & Mitla. The natural area with the beautiful mountains nearby is excellent for hiking and cycling. It is a good place for writers, artists, hiker and nature friends. The apartment is close enough to Oaxaca City to enjoy your stay and far enough away to be in a quiet world in our indigenous village with a long time tradition. American-European standard. The small authentic village 1.5 mile from the famous Tule-Tree and 10 miles from Oaxaca City is located in the centre of the main tourist attractions. Many archaeological sites like Yagul, Mitla and famous handicraft villages like Teotitlan del Valle, as well as the historic centre of Oaxaca City, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are within a 20 minute ride and have a easy access by public transport. In the next block is a small corner shop and provides you with the basics. Tortilla and sweet bread sellers come regulary and go through the whole village and two days a week goes a women with her VW-Bus through the main roads and sells fresh fruit and vegetables. The complete infrastructure of grocery stores, market, pharmacies, laundries, restaurants in the market area nearby (around 15 minute walk) Frequently cheap public transportation to Oaxaca city from the early morning until late in the night. Around 15 minutes to walk. The ride with the bus costs around 10 Pesos and with the shared taxis 15 Pesos. We can arrange transportation from/to the airport or bus station. The ADO first class bus station is 8 miles away, the international airport Oaxaca Xoxocotlán is 15 miles away. We have dogs and cats. The pets live in our own house, not in the rental unit. They friendly dogs like to go around with you.
