We live with our dog, semi-feral stable cat , and 4 ducks. Our dog is friendly and obedient but has no concept of personal space so if you aren't comfortable with dogs this isn't the place for you. Our home is a peaceful, private base from which to explore the Peak District. We have a spacious garden that isn't overlooked and our home has views of the surrounding countryside. The bedroom is clean, modern, spacious, and has an en suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities (including both dairy and non-dairy milk). There is ample draw storage and a hanging rail can be provided upon request. The bedroom is on the ground floor so there are no steps to access it other than the single step into the property. Guests are welcome to relax in the open plan lounge and the outdoor spaces and use the freestanding bath in the shared family bathroom. 15 minutes walk away is the historic market town of Belper where you'll find shops, places to eat and drink, and places to be entertained. In 2020 Belper won the government's national Great British High Street award. There is a train station serviced by trains travelling along the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site between Derby and Matlock.
