The Bothy, your island retreat

Your own island retreat awaits you, set amidst towering gums with views across Pittwater. Watch the comings & goings on the water while parrots and kookaburras stop by for a visit. Walk the island foreshore and feel like you're a million miles from the centre of Sydney, listen to live music at the Waterfront Restaurant or take a ferry ride around the bays. This home from home offers all the comforts and more, a place to relax and unwind and only a 5 minute ferry ride from Church Point. Three cosy and comfortable bedrooms upstairs, bedroom/office downstairs with sofabed. Access to island is by ferry or Water Taxi from Church Point. Car parking at Church Point can be tricky , so best to carpool with your other guests. The 156 bus also runs between Mona Vale and Church Point. We are not on the property but are available for questions on the mobile or by email Church Point, where the ferry leaves from, is the hub for island residents, with the Waterfront Kiosk not only a popular restaurant and music venue, but where you can also shop for groceries, pick up fish & chips or buy a bottle of your favourite wine from their well-stocked bottle shop. Other than all the watersports on offer in Pittwater, there are beautiful bushwalks to explore with a picnic in neighbouring Kuringai Chase National Park. Access to the island is by ferry or Water Taxi from Church Point. Car parking at Church Point can be quite tricky, so we advise guests take Uber or carpool as much as possible. There is also the 156 bus which goes between Mona Vale and Church Point. Once on the island, getting about is on foot. All bed linen and towels will be provided. A hamper of basic groceries can be provided on request.
