This cozy cabin is perfect for a couples getaway or for a small family retreat or group of friends. The home is perfectly positioned for everything the Poconos has to offer: ski/board/tube at Camelback, Big Boulder or Jack frost mountains, hike Hickory Run State park or the Delaware water gap, cycle the D&L trail, kayak/Canoe/raft/sail/SUP, or just stay in and grill a meal, lounge in the hammock, roast s'mores, cozy up and stream a movie or play board games. This cozy 950 sqft cabin has 2 bedrooms (each has a Queen bed) with a sleeping loft (2 Queen beds). The loft is accessed by a "ships ladder" which may not be suitable for all guests. The kitchen is small but well stocked with all the basics, salt, pepper, oil, spices, baking trays and pans. We also have a waffle maker, drip and keurig coffee maker. We have a Breeo "smokeless" (in reality low smoke) firepit and a hammock for lounging. On the back deck there is a table with benches and a gas grill. We have super high speed internet for anyone working from home, schooling remotely or simply streaming videos/playing video games. There is room for 2 cars to park at the back of the home, and one car could park by the mailbox on the side of the road out front. You will be supplied with a keyless access code which will work on the BACK door. Although we're just a text or call away, this space is private for you, we're not planning on stopping by unless you need something! Pocono Pines is central to the Poconos. It is a rural/residential region in the Poconos inclusive of vacation homes as well as permanent residences. The cabin is just minutes to Camelback, Jack Frost and Big Boulder ski hills, Kalahari Aquatopia and H2O waterparks, Mount Airy Casino, the Pocono Raceway and many wonderful State parks. The home is about a block from the private lake community of Lake Naomi (5 minute walk to West beach). Lake Naomi Club is a platinum resort community; access may be available and requires application and fees paid directly to the club (LNC temporary memberships are minimum 7 days and must start on a Saturday). You'll get the most out of this area with a car. Although one could arrive by Martz bus and Uber/taxi to this home, we believe having a car would optimize your ability to enjoy the surrounding areas. Uber are typically available but the region is not densely populated and you may need to wait for your ride. There is an Enterprise car rental facility 4 miles away. The address can be serviced by food/grocery delivery services such as UberEats, Doordash, Instacart. COMMUNITY AMENITIES: This home belongs to the Platinum resort community Lake Naomi Club. Access to Lake Naomi Club beaches, lake, pools, clubhouse dining is available through temporary guest membership to LNC. Guests must apply for temporary membership directly with the club. LNC has restrictions: Minimum LNC temporary membership length is 7 days and must start on a Saturday. If interested in LNC for your 7+ night stay, please message me BEFORE booking and I'll look into availability. Resort fees are commonly charged by private Pocono resort communities. The LNC temporary membership fee may seem expensive, but the amenities are extensive and high quality (example, week long family membership in the summer is about $400 for the week, $260 in the winter). VACATIONING IN THE MOUNTAINS Wild animals are known to live in the Pocono Mountains including deer, foxes, coyotes, bears and other animals. You’re more likely to have an animal siting at a state park or state gamesland, but wild animals roam freely and it’s possible an animal could pass by the property.
