For the fitter couple who loves adventure, boat access only with a 10minute walk to your 100m elevated cottage site. This is a 64m squared cottage with a bedroom/kitchenette space, small bathroom with toilet/shower/handbasin space, and large room for lounging that is otherwise used as a seminar room when retreats/workshops and classes are being run not in conjunction of private Air BnB bookings. Arrival is by privately organised water taxi or boat onto Schnapper Points private beach. Your hosts can meet you to assist with luggage/groceries up to the cottage that is a 10minute incline up 100m walk. Cottage is behind and seperate from the house, elevated higher than the house so no impingement on amazing views. On top of Schnapper Point Peninsula you can see Ratahi to your left and Te Mahia to your right with St Omer in front and Nopera golf course straight ahead. Portage is tucked away in the distance to your right. Queen Charlotte walk accessible. Boat access only, you can kayak 30-40 minutes for coffee or a meal at te Mahia and Tinkers Kitchen, or 5 minutes on water taxi. 15 minutes to Portage via water taxi. We are pet lovers so need to know if you prefer Paddy the cat or Tipsy the dog not to visit for love and affection. Adequate footwear is recommended for potentially slippery tracks. Aqua shoes are great for the clay tracks and beach.
