Set in the rural countryside of Norfolk, this property offers a peaceful and romantic setting for those looking to get away from it all. Inside, the cottage is filled with character: exposed brickwork, wooden beams, and a wood burner. It’s a great spot to explore Norfolk, with plenty of attractions within easy reach. Popular seaside town, Wells-next-the-Sea, is just 20 minutes away whilst Blakeney, Holt and Brancaster can all be reached within half an hour. The village of Colkirk itself offers a local pub serving food. Little Starre is a quaint, home away from home which offers a peaceful setting for relaxation, with the opportunity to explore just a short drive away. Street parking is available. Little Starre is a beautiful 1-bedroom cottage with a blend of modern amenities and rustic charm. The property features a bedroom with king size bed, lounge, kitchen, dining room and bathroom with shower over bath. The lounge and dining room are divided with a gorgeous open brickwork fireplace which surrounds an operational wood burner. It provides a wonderfully cosy space to relax in the evening with a good film and roaring fire. One set of logs are provided for you, with the option to purchase more upon request. On the other side of the fireplace, you will find a cosy table for two, perfect for evening meals together, or just quick bite breakfasts before a busy day exploring! The fully equipped kitchen is well stocked with utensils and amenities and has everything you need for cooking during your stay. Little Starre is situated in the village of Colkirk and is about 2 miles south of Fakenham and only 10 miles from the beautiful North Norfolk coast. There is a local pub in the village called The Crown, great for a drink or food. The village also has a village hall and a church pond, known as the Church Pit. Nestled on a quiet country lane, you'll find St Mary's church which dates back to the 14th century. Fakenham is only 2 miles away, so if you are looking for a little more hustle and bustle you haven’t got to venture far. Here you will find high street shops, a range of local pubs and not forgetting Fakenham Racecourse, which is known as one of the finest rural national hunt race courses in the country. The famous Fakenham Market which has been delighting locals and tourists since 1250 is something to experience, and there are also many walking routes in this area for those who love a nice long stroll. Just a short drive away you can experience the splendour of the Norfolk Coast, with spectacular sandy beaches, beautiful nature walks and some great villages and towns to visit such as Blakeney, Wells-next-the-sea, Holt and Salthouse, to name a few. The bustling City of Norwich is easily accessible by car about 26 miles away. The history of Norwich is vast and evident in its Medieval cobbled streets, Castle and Cathedral.
