Light, spacious and warm 3 bedroom house
Come and relax in our spacious house next to a 4 acre wood which has been our family home for 5 years. With several kids, it has it's bumps and scrapes so look at the photos to make sure it's what you want. But, if you're looking for somewhere quiet, warm and spacious with a garden this is it. An 8 minute walk along the Shipwrights Way next to a river to get to the mainline station, restaurants/takeaways and eclectic shops. Excellent pub at the end of the road and others nearby This is a terraced house but feels deceptively larger inside. Entering through the front garden, the living room is on the ground floor to the left and has a large screen tv with internet access and Netflix. Straight ahead and at the rear is the kitchen/diner with conservatory extension which is a great sun trap and gets lovely and warm. For the hot days, there are bi-fold doors to make the room fully open to the rear garden. There is a ground level trampoline which will keep your kids entertained for hours and is good exercise for the grown ups too! Going upstairs is the bathroom which has a large twin end bath with shower in a double height room. The windows open with no glazing bar so you can relax into a hot bath and be fully connected to the sounds of nature outside. There are then the two double rooms with king size beds and a single with bunk beds which is cozy and warm. There is a book shelf with plenty of books to keep your children entertained with a wide variety of reading ages available. Go up the next flight of stairs to the attic room which is an open space with three v-lux windows which flood the room with light and make it perfect as a play room for children or an excellent work space. The WiFi works perfectly for those who need to stay in touch with the office. Parking is available on the road outside the house and there are always spaces. You can also park at the rear if you drive round on the track and onto the concrete hard standing which is next to the rear garden back gate. At the end of the road is a wood (which the Shipwrights Way runs through) which is a fantastic wildlife haven and has a river winding through it. There are some lovely walks. Next to the wood are the army ranges which allow public access (but do look out for the red flags, you cant miss them) and has miles and miles of heathland walking and pine woods to explore. Excellent for cycling too. My partner and I will be generally available to assist with anything you need. We will stay in touch by text and/or email There is a wonderful wood with lovely walks and a winding river running through it. Popular for walking and excellent for dogs and cycling. There is a small park with children's swings, football goals and a boules court at the end of the road, next to the country pub which serves food and has a lovely garden. Nearby is the market town of Petersfield and Queen Elizabeth Country Park where there are breathtaking views and amazing long walks as well as a large open access assault course set in a beautiful beech wood. Parking is fine, there are always on street spaces and you can park round the back if wanted, next to the rear garden gate. There is a mainline station 8 minutes walk away which gets you to London in little over an hour and Portsmouth in 20 minutes There is a pond in the front and back garden. Both are amazing wildlife areas, you will hear the frogs at the right time of year. We have also has hedgehogs visit but they are only occasional despite having two hedgehog houses! Please supervise young children when near the ponds as any body of water presents danger to those who don't understand the safety issues.
