City fringe studio

This free standing studio with en suite sleeps 2 comfortably, but the sofa bed can extend this to 3. Located in cosmopolitan Thebarton just 2km from the CBD, the studio is a 10 minute walk to the free tram that will take you into the city. The room is a comfortable 30sqm (plus en suite) and has lead light windows on all four walls. It sits above a double garage that is used only for storage by the home owner. An external staircase takes you up to a small landing and door. Inside there is a queen bed, sofa bed, bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, with coffee, tea, and filtered water provided. The room comes with a large TV, a selection of DVDs and board games, free wifi, a small dining table and a desk. There is off street parking for one car and a backyard with a small lawn, fish pond, and large undercover area. The whole upper level is yours during your stay. You may use the washing machine in the laundry below (by request), and the back yard which is shared with the main house (but rarely used). There are a couple of friendly cats on the property that love a pat, but please don't let them in the room! I will greet you on arrival if I'm home, otherwise please call or SMS me with any questions you may have. I'm always happy to have a chat, or to give you the space you need. Thebarton is adjacent to the city on its west. The Torrens river is very close with walking and cycling paths taking you directly to the city, the beach, and many parks. There are multiple shops, popular eateries and pubs all within close walking distance. The new Royal Adelaide Hospital is one tram stop away. The free city tram is within walking distance. Bus stops are nearby. It is quite easy and picturesque to ride a bike to town, or an equally nice walk.
