Cosy romantic lodge close to Cannock chase

The open plan lodge is ideal for romantics wanting to be alone with its own privacy, it’s based at the bottom of our garden separate from our property ,with parking (Website hidden by Airbnb) a quiet relaxed area (apart from the cockerel being vocal at times😊) We offer a breakfast basket & complimentary drinks that are displayed in the lodge.We also pride ourselves on helping with special occasions just ask. The patio area in summer is in full sun& a bbq is available to use. This studio combines the sleeping,chilled area& kitchen together with high ceilings. A good sized separate bathroom & private patio with seating& canopy that can be lit up of an evening & parking on site. The lodge is set in a little hamlet off the main road from the village tucked away up a small private lane,some of the lanes are muddy in winter and wellies would be recommended if you decide to walk to the canal. Please drive carefully down the lanes as many of us have animals& walk them down the lanes. Parking is on site. To get around the area we would recommend driving unless you like a good 15 -30 min walk to get to the local pubs& restaurants. We live on site in our house separate to the lodge,we r available via message or happy to pop down if needed. Crossheads is a little hamlet off from the main roads in colwich,neighbours down the lanes have dogs cats chickens& averies,we are surrounded by natural parks& fields and close to the canal. Getting around the lanes in winter can be muddy so wellies or walking boots would be needed if you want to walk to the canal etc ... both pubs in the village are about a good 10 minute walk ...the Indian is about 20 mins walk or a 5 min drive,taxi’s should be arranged before hand and we can help you with that. Nearest train station is in rugeley about a 10 minute drive where you can get to Birmingham direct in about 40 mins. Parking space at the lodge is for one car there is other free parking on the green by the private lane approx 1 minute walk from the lodge. We are situated close to the canal& river Trent & shugborough estate.close by we have local pubs, a fantastic canal farm shop with restaurant. Local Indian restaurant & antiques centre,and shooting ground. Local train gets you into Birmingham with in 40 mins Please drive slowly down our lanes as a lot of us have animals and walk them down the lanes. A lot of the lanes are small with passing points.
