Beautiful room (13m2), ideal for two people, well located, close to Montreux, Vevey, and the lake and accessible both by car and public transport, much closer to Montreux (8 'by bus) than does not appear on the map. Tourist tax (6 .- / p / d) included, offering you the Montreux Riviera Card offering many advantages, including all free public transport and 50% on museums, Chillon, Rochers de Naye (30%), Riviera Tour cruise on Lake Geneva. This room of 13m2 is in the apartment where my husband and I are living as well. You'll find a bed 140/200, a wood desk, a chest of drawers, a closet, a place with a little table, a rattan chair and a chair. The place is ideal for two people, well situated, near the city center of Montreux, Vevey and the lake. Reachable by car and public transport. As well included: the nominative Montreux Riviera Card, which offers many advantages (the free use of public transports in the area, 50% off on the Chillon Castle as well as on a selection of museums and amusement parks entrance tickets, etc.) Our B&B is officially declared to the Municipality of Montreux and the price of the tourist tax (6 .- / day / person) is included in the price of the room, which allows us to offer you the Montreux Riviera Card, with in particular free public transport in the region; all the activities and visits offered in partnership with the Montreux Riviera Card are at 50% (all museums, admission to Château de Chillon, climb to Rochers de Naye) or at 20% (Maison Cailler, Glaciers 3000, Mosimann collection at Bouveret). Few Airbnb hosts in the region offer this card, which is a real financial benefit for tourists. Included to the room’s price you have the access to the kitchen, but basically only fort the breakfast (coffee machine and coffee capsule at your disposal, delicious bakery only 2min. walk away from the apartment). The use of the kitchen for other meal can be negotiated with the host. Depending on the case, the use of the kitchen for other meal could be allowed. In principle my husband and I will be here to welcome you and advise you of the „must see“ of our beautiful region. We will stand at your disposal for any recommendation of restaurants or any further information you may need. The neighbourhood is very quiet and you’ll enjoy to make a small «promenade» in the village and see the beautiful landscape from the «Châtelard Castle» at about 15 min. walk from the village. Furthermore the apartment is very close to the lake and to the city centre of Montreux. Very near (1-2' by foot) you have an excellent bakery, a little restaurant, and an "streetfood" shop. The bus stop (bus 204) to go to the city centre is 1min. walk away from the apartment. There is a bus every 20min. approximately and it take 8 minutes to go to Montreux city centre with it. The train station "Clarens" is also close tot he apartment (~6-7min. walking). With the train you can go either in the direction of Montreux/Villeneuve or in the direction of Vevey/Lausanne.
