Quiet & Cosy bedroom by Regents Canal, Angel

Welcome to our bright and brand new home in Angel! Hi! We live right in the heart of London in a beautiful, newly renovated, Victorian house located in Angel Islington, right by Regents Canal. The house has four floors with four bedrooms (3.5 bathrooms) and a garden. You will have your own bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the top floor of the house. The house is situated in an extremely peaceful residential area. However, you will discover plenty of restaurants and shops all accessible by foot. It's about 5 minutes walk to Angel station. The bedroom contains a king size bed (160 x 200) and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in there. High quality bed linens, towels and toiletries are provided and of course, your bedroom will be professionally cleaned before your stay. So just relax and enjoy :) To tell you more about us, we are yoga and meditation teachers. During our free time, we like to go for walks, play the piano, cook vegetarian food, do yoga etc. We can speak English, French or Spanish. We are relaxed, peaceful and happy people. Don't miss Regents canal and Arlington Square Garden (botanical garden) just a few minutes walk from the house. The neighbourhood of Highbury and Islington centres around the large Highbury Corner roundabout at the top of Upper Street. Known as a part of London with an abundance of culture, green spaces, restaurants and bars. The beautiful Union Chapel sits near the top of Upper Street and regularly hosts comedy nights and acoustic music gigs from some of the biggest names in the industry. Highbury Fields, meanwhile, is a popular park in the local area, thanks to its large open grass space, tall trees and special rules that allow you to cook food on a barbeque, something that is outlawed in most other London parks. There are loads of restaurants and cafes and more on Upper Street at walking distance from the house. You definitely won’t be short of delicious places to eat - Islington has become something of a destination for foodies with tons of new restaurants opening all the time and lots of long-standing institutions. Trullo has been a local favourite for a while now, where you can sample incredible Italian food in a laid back environment. This place gets consistently glowing reviews, so you will need to book in advance. Bellanger is another popular choice. This lovely place is modelled on a French Brasserie and you can head there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for classic French dishes and a terrace looking out over Islington Green. For a more unusual cuisine, Tbilisi is perhaps the best Georgian restaurant in London, and here you can enjoy delicious main courses such as chashushuli and kharcho stews. Yida Sushi is a family-run Japanese restaurant - small and unassuming from the outside, this place is worth trying if sushi is your thing. For those with a sweet tooth, Miki's Paradise is a fun milkshake and juice bar on holloway Road where you can enjoy their signature ‘freakshakes’. A public house since the early 1700s, The Canonbury Tavern was refurbished in 2009 giving the residents of Islington one of the best pub gardens in the city and a superb roast lunch on a Sunday. Moreover, the beautiful garden offers an escape from chaotic city life. We are 7 minutes walk from Angel tube and one stop from Kings Cross. There are regular buses in all directions as well as bikes to hire just around the corner. The Citymapper app can also be helpful for getting around! For those who prefer to be out and about late at night, partying, play music etc, this is not the listing for you :) IMPORTANT: If you're a large family or large group of friends, please know that we have 3 bedrooms available in our house and we can host a total of 6 persons.
