Total privacy in our quiet upscale neighborhood 2 miles from the lake. Walk-out basement apt set up as a separate residence. You'll love our 2 wooded acres full of hummingbirds, finches, hawks & even eagles! Only 2miles from I-69, I-24, groceries, restaurants. YOUR comfort is my priority, we have high quality beds & linens. PETS: MIGHT allow dogs under 40lbs -IF you ask in advance & have proof of vaccinations & flea & tick preventative. Entire lower floor all to yourself, with stocked full kitchen, den with 50 inchTV for your streaming services. Master BR with king sz bed. Tiny 2nd bedroom has queen size bed. Twin bed is set up in the hallway between BR & LR for 5th guest. Full size tub with hand held shower. ***NOTE: It's very COLD during summer (May-Sept) when we turn on the AC*** a walk out basement. I provide plush bathrobes, blankets/throws, heavy socks and will lend you a hoodie or jacket. Note there's no way for you to adjust or controls the HVAC. We keep it set on 70 year round. If you are *cold-natured this might not be a good fit for you in the summer! **Please acknowledge you read and understand this if booking in May-Sept! Our space was built for 100% privacy. We won't hear you or see you except to check in unless you need us. I require the names of all adults in your group. You may have guest & they are welcome to visit & swim in season. No over-night guests that aren't registered!!! **NOT suitable for Parties!!** We have a beautiful wooded neighborhood, great for walking with a country feel but only 2 miles from groceries, pharmacy, restaurants or Ky. lake marina. Your parking & entry door are on the** BACK** side of the house Our large circle driveway extends down the left side of the property & behind the house with space to park 2-3 cars or a couple of boats. There are NO STEPS here which may be important for some guests. Our senior rescue dog lives upstairs with us. She will NEVER come near you or into your space. No smoking inside ever!!!! The entire living area on this floor is for you! There are chairs & table outside too. Children & adults can use the entire back yard of 2 acres. We have a small play area for children. You are always welcome to use the swimming pool (we use non-chlorine pool chemicals call Baquacil so you won’t have to deal with nasty chlorine!) Open in season (may-sept). It’ll be your own***private pool*** for you we do not use it when guests do, so it’s all yours!!! Boats & fishermen welcome! Extra large paved parking for fishing boats with plug ins for your batteries & up to 3 cars. We also have grills available, just ask. Chances are I have anything you forgot and I will share! Interaction will be your choice. We won't hear or see unless you want to see us. This is our residence too on the floor above you. I keep grand children 2-3x a week so there is potential for noise from them. We also have a 17 year old rescue dog but she will NEVER go in your area!! You may hear her bark, sadly she's just started barking A LOT from hearing loss & doggie dementia! Let me know if she is disturbing you! We are quite people & no one has ever complained about noise, but since we live directly above the apartment, I provide a white noise machine next to the bed to block out sounds. We are available 24-7 via phone call or text. I love my southern heritage and plan to make you feel welcome! We have a beautiful quite wooded neighborhood, great for walking, almost no traffic!! This house has a southern rural country feel but we are located VERY CLOSE (1 block) from major roads, only 1-2 mile groceries, pharmacy, restaurants and a convenient store and only 2 miles from Ky Dam State Park & the lake, Mike Miller Park, I-24 & I -69. You may see (or hear) Red tail hawks, owls, eagles, deer, rabbits & squirrels & lots of finches & hummingbirds. No public transportation! If you fly in you'll need to rent a car. Barkley Airport (very small private) is 5 miles from our home. Paducah airport PAH is 30 miles away. BNA (Nashville Tn) is 120 miles, St Louis STL is 150 miles away. If you need a ride from the PAH airport, just ask, we can arrange to pick you up. NO SMOKING!!! & OUR SPACE IS COLD IN THE SUMMER!! Central HVAC makes your space COLD due to being a walk-out basement. Fellow coffee lovers will have both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. I'll leave coffee, teas, sugar, hot chocolate, oatmeal & popcorn for your stay plus other snacks, usually donuts from my favorite local bakery! Please let me know if you have food allergies. We keep thermostat on 70 which makes your space very ""COLD"" 66-68 degrees. If you're COLD-NATURED, this may NOT be a good fit for you! I Highly recommend warm lounging/sleepwear! I provide blankets, robes & socks and will loan you a hoodie or jacket. PLEASE ASK, it's no trouble and I really want you to be comfy!
