From the apartment you can walk to the nearest cafes and restaurants in two minutes (100-200 m), and also a supermarket and a bakery about 50 meters. The main services, such as train station, bank and pharmacy are in the immediate vicinity (400 meters). The beaches are just "a step away from the lake" just over 200 meters. Dervio for its ideal position overlooking the lake is always ventilated: for this reason it is considered the "paradise" of sailing and kite-surfing. It is also an intermediate stage of the famous Sentiero del Viandante(Way of the Wayfarer), ancient communication route between Lecco and Colico. Its location is ideal for exploring the nearby mountains of Valvarrone, Valsassina and Valtellina. Dervio is also the starting point to reach by boat or train various locations: Varenna Bellano, Piona, Colico, Bellagio, Menaggio.
