Garitz is the portal to the Fläming nature reserve. The holiday house is right by the Fläming cycle path (100 metres). The Elbe is about 15 minutes away by car. The Elbe is a dream for paddlers. You can go fishing at the nearby lake (guest fishing permit possible) and also swimming, with a bit of courage. The Silent Corner Western Ranch (2km away) provides ambitious riders attractive facilities. It is a ten-minute walk to a restaurant and hotel. The Wörlitzer Gartenreich, the culture and Bauhaus city of Dessau and the Luther town of Wittenberg are easy to get to from here. You can walk along the Lutherweg from here.
