Create your own meals with ingredients from the neighboring Edington Farm Shop or allow us to arrange a private chef, freeing up your time to explore the historic English countryside or simply relax with a favorite novel. A short path above the cottage leads you to an outdoor plunge pool, hot tub, wet and dry sauna barn. Massage and other wellness treatments are available upon request. A few more steps along the path, the Trailhead Cabin offers a dartboard, games, wood burning stove, and an outdoor fire pit overlooking the bocce and croquet courts next to the cottage. Whether you are sharing family stories around the fire or bragging about the day’s hunt with friends, the Trailhead Cabin perfectly complements the homey Hillside cottage. Steeped in history, Wiltshire has much to offer the hobbyist historian. Above the Trailhead Cabin, take a quick hike to Salisbury Plain and the historic site of the Battle of Ethandun. In later years, the nearby area and village of Imber was repurposed as a training ground for American troops readying for the battles during World War II and remains an active training ground today. The award-winning Three Daggers Pub and Brewery is just across the road. Named English Pub of the Year 2019-2020, the Three Daggers Brewery itself has earned silver and bronze SIBA accolades for their locally brewed golden ales as well as their stronger brown ales, porters and stouts. The menu, designed in a farm to table style, changes regularly as it moves with the seasons and the local farmers’ offerings. COULSTON + PRIORY in the PUB Master rooms with ensuite bathroom Named after a neighbouring village, Coulston is our master suite with fantastic views across the Wiltshire landscape. It is the largest of the three bedrooms and features a super king size bed, a luxurious ensuite with a clawfoot bath and an oversized walk-in shower. You will also find plenty of clothes storage space, a flat screen TV, and an iPod docking station.
