Østerbro is one of Copenhagen's most attractive residential areas, especially for families with kids. it is in somewhat posh and at the same time completely down to earth. Among its main attractions are Kastellet ( the Citadel) and of course Copenhagen's most famous statue- Little Mermaid. There is a wide range of fine dining restaurants and cozy cafés. It is easy to reach Copenhagen downtown by bus or by bike like locals. No private parking provided. Public parking is available across Copenhagen.
