Chepstow is an excellent location at the start of both the Welsh Coastal Path & Offa's Dyke. Many attractions including Castle, Racecourse, NDAC, Tintern, Wye Valley & Forest of Dean. You will find my home a clean & quiet respite from anything you want to experience in beautiful Chepstow & Wye Valley! Fully modernised with gas central heating, fully fitted kitchen, Samsung 40-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p Smart 3D LED TV, Netflix, Playstation 4, plus games. All essentials included; blankets, sheets, towels, soap, hairdryer, etc. The bungalow is located 1km from the town centre. My place is located on the Offa’s Dyke Footpath, providing outstanding views, very scenic & close to plenty of attractions. My place is close to shops, parks, pubs & restaurants. My home is very accessible, within walking distance of Chepstow town centre (approx. 15 min walk). There are public buses which stop very close to property (approx. 50 metres away). Close to motorways - quick access to Cardiff, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester & Newport. Train Station & National Express Bus Station in town centre to enable easy access nationwide. I am available via Airbnb app/phone/text/email at any time. I can offer advice on where to eat, where to go out & public transport services, as well as favourite walks, places to see & things to do. Very friendly & quiet neighbourhood. The village of Tutshill was the childhood home for famous Author JK Rowling. She attended Tutshill Church of England Primary School before moving on at the age of eleven to the nearby Wyedean School in Sedbury. Her childhood home, Church Cottage, a mid-19th century Gothic-style Grade II listed building designed by the architect Henry Woodyer, was put up for sale in 2011. The character Severus Snape in the Harry Potter books was partly based on Sylvia Morgan, a teacher at her primary school, and on one of her teachers at Wyedean School, John Nettleship. In the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a passage is set in the Forest of Dean, where Harry, Hermione and Ron are camping & discover the Sword of Gryffindor where it has been hidden by Snape. Tutshill is also the home of a fictional professional Quidditch team operating within the Harry Potter universe. The Tutshill Tornados are one of thirteen fictional Quidditch teams that play in the professional Quidditch League of Britain and Ireland that was established in 1674. The team players wear sky-blue robes emblazoned with a double "T" in dark blue on the chest & back. In the early 20th century the fictional team set a British and Irish record by winning the League Cup five times in a row. Property located walking distance to Chepstow town centre. There is a bus into Chepstow which stops regularly very close to property if you prefer not to walk or there are taxis available. Train Station & National Express Bus Station in Chepstow to enable easy access nationwide. I may also be available at times to provide transfers by request. Chepstow has the oldest stone Castle in the UK - 950 years old in 2017. Chepstow was a very important trading port in Roman & Norman times - much bigger than Cardiff at that time. The approach across the Severn Crossing is a sight to behold. Chepstow marks the start of the Offa's Dyke & Welsh Coastal Paths, with the Forest of Dean walks & cycle paths less than 10 minutes away. It is also the home to JK Rowling with much from the Harry Potter books inspired by Chepstow & the surrounding areas.
