BROKENBACK HOMESTEAD (formerly Oakvale Homestead) The Heritage listed Brokenback Homestead is one of Pokolbin's finest residences. Brokenback Homestead is set on 110 acres in the historic Oakvale Winery with breathtaking views of the Brokenback Ranges and rolling vineyards. It is perfectly located on Broke road, surrounded by cellar doors, in one of Pokolbin's best locations. The spacious Homestead is the perfect getaway for family and friends with five generous bedrooms, three bathrooms(two with ensuites) and gourmet kitchen which adjoins the large Tuscan style dining and lounge room. There is one King size bedroom with ensuite attached, three queen bedrooms, one with an ensuite and one bedroom with two single beds and a set of bunk beds. The Homestead is fully self contained with linen supplied. Relax with a glass of Hunter wine on one of three beautiful outdoor settings overlooking the vineyard, or inside in the massive open plan entertainment wing which includes a huge open sandstone fireplace, 40 foot high cathedral ceilings, HD LCD with FOXTEL and a restaurant sized gourmet kitchen. The big draw card and what everyone loves is the massive outdoor circular sandstone fire pit where you can enjoy and soak up the Hunter atmosphere for hours with friends and family. If you prefer some privacy, four of the five bedrooms have their own verandahs, each with their own unique vista of the property. The bedrooms are situated in a separate part of the homestead, suitably distanced from the entertainment areas. Perfect for wedding accommodation or just to reunite with family and friends.
