The area boasts some of the finest horticultural gems in Britain, with the National Botanical Gardens, the historical Aberglasney House and Garden, and Dinefwr House and Park, all within a 10-minute drive. Carmarthenshire also has six of the finest ’bucket and spade’ beaches in Europe, and one of the longest in Wales, Cefn Sidan, at Pembrey. The Brechfa Forest, Black Mountains and Neath Valley are within easy reach, as are the rugged coasts of Cardigan and the Gower Peninsula.
