If you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet, and indeed the hot tub long enough to explore, then you will find so much to see and do right on your doorstep. With lovely walks virtually from the front door, just a little further afield lies the stunning North Norfolk coastline. Head to Cromer and explore the famous pier and Edwardian seafront, enjoy a spot of lunch in one of the many independent cafés or head to Amazonia Zoo. But don’t stop there, this area has a string of pretty seaside towns and villages including picturesque Mundesley, Sheringham, Cley, Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea. For a change of scenery head to nearby Wroxham, considered by many as the gateway to the Norfolk Broads, here you can join a tour or even charter your own boat and be skipper for the day. Add in Sheringham Park, Bewilderwood, the Thursford and Muckleburgh Collections, North Norfolk and Bure Valley Raliways, the Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, Bewilderwood, Amazonia Zoo and indeed the medieval city of Norwich and you will see why guests flock to to this part of the coast year after year.
