Built in the 1700s, beautiful Barn Cottage, accessed via a private lane, is a Grade II listed house located within Waldershare Park, boasting 40 hectares of land and first owned by Sir Henry Furness. In the middle sits the stunning Waldershare mansion house which was built in 1712 and has Grade I listed status. The estate was passed onto the Earl of Guilford and still remains in their family today. Stunning views of the parkland are admired in every room at Barn Cottage, you will especially enjoy the study room on the first floor which is the perfect place for reading your favourite book. The cottage still has its original fireplaces as feature pieces in the living room and first floor bedroom, adding to its traditional character.
