Welcome to MARSEILLE ! It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you in my 49 square meters apartment in the heart of the 1st district, located on the 1st floor without elevator, ideal for 3 people. It is located close to the Old Port and near the Plage des Catalans. You will be able to walk in a dynamic district and to benefit from pretty walks along the sandy beaches of Marseilles! Have a great stay! :) ## Logement Located in Marseille, my apartment is COSY, well cared for, comfortable and is composed of a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a shower room, a charming functional kitchen and a nice living room with a television to relax after an intense day. You will have at your disposal to spend an excellent stay: Wifi, Hair dryer, Television, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Coffee machine, Fan, Microwave, Oven, Iron. You will be very well served by public transport to stroll around the city and its surroundings! The apartment is ideally located near the Old Port (3 min walk), the Plage des Catalans (17 min walk), the Cantini Museum of the City of Marseille (8 min walk), the Parc Emile Duclaux (15 min walk) and the Cours Julien stairs (12 min walk). You will find many shops nearby such as a Spar at 3 min walk, a Lidl at 4 min walk as well as many small shops such as the famous Boulangerie du "Four des Navettes". The area is very popular with locals and tourists, do not hesitate to ask me for good addresses, I will be happy to share my favorites with you! A professional cleaning is done before and after each trip. ## Emplacement The 1st district is in the center of the city, and is the beating heat of Marseille. It hosts especially old historical buildings, such as the Mission de France Church, the Saint-Théodore Church, the Figaro’s house or the Pesciolini hotel. As well, the Vestiges garden, discovered during the 20th century, hosts the remains of the antique harbour of Marseille, and is a peaceful and great place to wander. The atmosphere is warm and lively ! You will find various typical restaurants on the Vieux-Port, while staying near to the shopping streets such as the streets de la République and du Paradis. The public transportation is very dense in the 1st district, so the whole city is easily accessible from this place. ## Transports Metro: Line M1 (Vieux Port station): 5 min walk. Line M2 (Noailles station): 12 min walk. Bus : Lines 41,49,55,60,61,80,82,82 S,83,518,521,540 and 583 (Place aux Huiles station) : 1 min walk. From Marseille Provence Airport : 25 min by car or shuttle every 10 minutes. From the Marseille-Saint-Charles train station: 10 min by car and even less by metro at the Vieux Port station (Frioul shuttle exit).
