Masso delle Fanciulle has been developed following non-invasive logic with the intention of preserving the simplicity of a rural home without sacrificing comfort: a skilful mix of tradition and modernity, wooden furniture and contemporary comforts with the exposed stone walls and wooden beams of the past. Air-conditioned bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a warm and welcoming living room, a portico used as a dining area, will make your dream of a typical Tuscan holiday come true; immersed in luxuriant Tuscan vegetation with the swimming pool that embellishes the garden, with attractive relaxation areas created specifically to enjoy the hot days outdoors, and with a shady pergola for outdoor dining. We are in the unmistakable Val di Cecina, a land of old borghi set in the unspoiled countryside with artistic beauties of rare intensity ranging from Pomarance to Volterra. Interior: The main entrance leads into a large hallway used as a reading area which has the function of dividing the sleeping area from the living area on the ground floor. On the right, an arch leads to the large living area with fireplace and TV, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. On the left, we have access to the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with tub. All the rooms on the ground floor have direct access to the garden. Upstairs are two mini-apartments connected internally to the main body but with the possibility of a separate entrance from the mezzanine floor. The first apartment consists of a living room with TV, a small kitchenette equipped for breakfast, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The second appartment consists of a living room with breakfast corner, two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. On the ground floor, with independent entrance, is a suite with double bed, kitchenette equipped for breakfast, and a bathroom with shower. Park: The entirely fenced garden, measuring approximately 900 sq m, extends all around the property. It is mainly flat and planted for the most part with lawn along which the numerous outdoor living areas are distributed: the portico for outdoor dining at the exit of the main kitchen, a pergola with a second dining area at the back of the property with a brick-built barbecue, the numerous relaxation areas under the shade of the trees and, finally, the swimming pool in a central position. The entire perimeter of the garden is bordered by a hedge that provides privacy. The parking area is located just past the entrance gate, at the front of the property. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool and solarium area are located at the rear of the property in a panoramic and elevated position, both reached via a flight of wooden steps. The rectangular pool, measuring 8 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.20 m, is lined in blue PVC, that harmonises well with the surrounding garden, and has chlorine purification and a ladder for access to the water. Around the pool edge is the wooden solarium, equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs and umbrellas. The swimming pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
