Tentrr State Park Site - Mississippi LeFleur's Bluff State Park - Mayes Lake C - Single Camp

Summary: Located near the Eastover neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi, LeFleur's Bluff is an easy-to-access natural oasis with fishing, picnic spots, and nature trails to explore. The 305-acre park also features a disc golf course. Families with children will enjoy visiting the park's playground. During your stay, you can also explore the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and Mississippi Children's Museum both located on the grounds of LeFleur's Bluff State Park. And, if you're a music lover, the Tentrr sites at LeFleur's Bluff less than a 1/2 hour drive to Brandon Amphitheater. This Tentrr campsite is located approximately 1.25 miles from the park entrance. You will be parking your car on land nearby with a hike-in distance of approximately 300 feet. Mayes Lake C is a partially shaded site with views of Mayes Lake. Your campsite features a 10 x 12 platform tent with a queen bed as well as a pop-up tent that can accommodate 4 additional campers. A picnic table, firepit and two Adirondack chairs are also included. There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access modern bathhouses for showers and restrooms at the park but these facilities are some distance from the tent. Campers who desire a hot shower during their stay, can also access showers at the park's bathhouse (located by the RV campsites). And, if the temperatures dips, you can keep warm with the propane heater inside the main platform tent. The Space: Enjoy camping at ready-to-go platform safari tents in Jackson, Mississippi. LeFleur's Bluff State Park is a lush, green oasis with Mayes Lake and two notable museums. Guest Access: Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Campers will also be able to access modern bathhouses for showers and restrooms at the park but these facilities are some distance from the tent. Other Things to Note: Check-in is at 3 pm. Beds in the canvas tents have memory foam mattresses but be sure to bring your own bedding, food, and firewood. Pop-up tent comes packed. No running water at this site - a Tentrr Loo, Coleman Sun Shower and a 5-gallon water jug are provided. Anything you pack in, you must pack out. Trash must be thrown away in the designated dumpster at the end of your stay. All sites are inspected for damages and cleanliness after each use and before the next renter. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Interaction with Guests: Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a Camp Guide submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50.
