Summary: Set in the heart of the stunning Afan Forest Park in beautiful South Wales, the house is perfect for discovering the area on foot or by mountain bike. We are right in the heart of the world famous mountain bike trails and can offer you and your bike a perfectly safe and secure haven. The nearest access to the cycle path which leads to the mountain bike trails is located less than a 2 minute ride. We have a secure bike storage at the rear of the property in the form of a brick built store. The Space: Brand new refurbishment! The property has been completely refurbished to a high standard and is well suited for mountain biking groups, families and those simply looking to relax. The living area has a super comfy sofa to relax on while watching the TV, with soft throws for you to wrap around on the colder nights! There is a large dining room for your meals and a well designed, fully equipped kitchen with a full height fridge/freezer, washing machine with a dryer and lets be honest, who doesn't love coffee...the all important Nespresso coffee machine with a milk frother. We supply a few pods for a welcome drink, please feel free to bring your own pods. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, pots and pans, a home from home kitchen. Upstairs you will find the modern bathroom with a bath and over bath shower, hand basin and toilet. There are 3 good sized bedrooms, one double bedroom, one twin bedded bedroom and finally a single bed bedroom, all with blackout blinds and comfortable beds. The property is set directly on the river so you will live the picturesque view at the property. Security is important to us as it is to you and we have cctv at the property, giving you peace of mind for the safety of your bikes. Guest Access: You have the entire property to yourself and is self check in. The Neighborhood: Set within spectacular countryside, The Afan Valley is located midway between Swansea and Cardiff in South Wales. Within walking distance of dense woodland areas, the house lies adjacent to the former mining area of Cymmer and adjacent to a European award winning national mountain biking facility, Afan Forest Park which receives approximately 60,000 visitors each year. Transport links are readily available with junction 40 of the M4 approximately 7 miles to the south west via the A4107. Norton Views is north east of Port Talbot with the City of Swansea 13 miles to the west and Cardiff 28 miles to the east.
