Summary: Sadlier House is located in one of the most prestigious streets on the North Side of Olde Worlde Berwick. A number of homes in this area were built and are now Heritage listed and whilst there are pockets of building starting to happen, the heritage of Berwick has not lost it's appeal. The Space: Sadlier House is on a large block of land on the prestigious North side of Berwick. The house comprises 4 bedrooms (only 3 bedrooms available to guests) with the Master bedroom featuring a brand new, oh, so, comfy King size bed, two bedside tables, staged bedside lamps and 2 lights above the bed. A large Walk-in-Robe with plenty of shelves and hanging space. Across the other side of the bedroom is a ensuite with bath and shower.The bath and shower both have safety hand rails and there is another toilet. Large vanity and a deluxe set of personal amenities to get your stay off to a wonderful start. Wander back out of the Master bedroom where you will find the traditional step down front Living Area...perfectly arranged for that late afternoon teté-é-teté, quietly immersing yourself in that beautiful view down towards Westernport Bay. This is the quiet space in the house. Stepping up from the living room and you find yourself walking on the most beautiful polished floor boards that run throughout the main travel areas of the house. First on the right, you will find an open study, with a traditional rolltop desk and matching chair, banker's light, accompanied by a tea trolly with an array of reading materials. Moving on through the house is the kitchen, which is 4 sided, but perfectly capable of meeting your needs with a double door fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooktop, underbench oven, kettle, toaster and coffee pod (Dolce Gusto) machine. Along with the more major appliances there is also a full cutlery set, dinnerware, glass ware, cooking, serving bowls, fruit bowls etc. BBQ utensils are also available. Stepping out of the kitchen is a beautifully, cherry polished extendable dining table, fully laid with exquisite dinnerware and cutlery, wine glasses, along with a complimentary bottle of wine. Behind the dining table is a magnificient Buffet and Hutch which is displayed with glorious dinnerset and glassware (so please don't use). Chandeliers are also bountiful and still looking glorious from the days of early splendour. A split system air conditioner is also up on the wall to spill out chilling cold air in the summer and there is a ducted heating system for the winter months. For the times when we have no option but to do the chores, Sadlier House also has a ducted vacuum system. Moving away from the dining area, there is another step down entertainment space which has a massive wall mounted 58" HiSense Smart TV. Pre-programmed with Free to Air Television and numerous Streaming services you can watch as much TV as you wish. We provide FREE access to Netflix and if you wish to watch anyother Streaming service you can log in with your own log in details. (Don't forget to log out before you Check Out). Also in this space, which is the width of the house is another sitting area with 4 armchairs and cushions which again you can join in a bit more boisterous fun and also watch the view out the back of the property. Going to the 2nd & 3rd bedroom's is back past the dining table and through to another hallway where the rest of the bedrooms, family bathroom, laundry and separate toilet are located. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, whilst the 3rd bedroom has a Queen size bed. The family bathroom has a shower, bath and vanity. Separate toilet. Laundry has a new top loader washing machine and a clothes dryer. Out the back yard there is a gorgeous garden, where even the laziest of gardeners may get the urge to dig in, so please feel free to enjoy the passive energy that shifts through you. The garden consists of a variety of fruit trees, vegetables, salad....please feel free to indulge in this little part of paradise! All we ask is that you are mindful of our neighbours and you don't leave any rubbish lying around or be too noisy. The Neighborhood: Sadlier House is one of the traditional homes in Berwick and is located within approximately a 50mt walk to the back entrance to Wilson Botanic Park which is 39 hectares of rolling hills and gardens to be explored, there is around 1000 different plant species that are home in Wilson Botanic Park, both natives and species. So if you love to get out into the open air and go for a good walk, or just a relaxing stroll, Wilson Botanic Park is the place to go. Sadlier House, if you are up to it is probable a brisk 20 minute walk or a short 5 minute drive into Berwick Village itself. Berwick Village is designed to look like a traditional English Village with a wide road and large median strip that is surrounded by traditional English Box Hedge trimmed to perfection, copy little areas to sit whether at outdoor tables and chairs or on the lushious grass. There is a small bandstand for Sunday afternoon music events and both sides of the road are lined with quaint little cafes and coffee shops, op shops to browse in and shops for all of your normal daily life supplies. Sunday mornings are a vibrant time in 'the Village' for breakfast as locals and visitors alike come into the village for breakfast or brunch, which usually turns into a lazy afternoon browsing around the shops and enjoying the activities on offer. Pioneer Park is another such part of Berwick which use to be home to the towns Primary School, however the school was relocated and the land was turned into a cafe and park for the citizens of Berwick. Pioneer Park is located behind the shops in the main street of the Village. In addition to the beautiful Olde Berwick outlook that so many people aspire to live there, Berwick is also an Academic and Medical Hub. Berwick is home to some of the finest school in Melbourne, with Federation University, Chisholm Tafe, Hailebury College, St Francis Xavior, Beaconhills College, HillCrest College, where parents bring their children from all over Melbourne to attend and some of the best teachers come to further their skills at these top class facilities! Monash Health Casey Hospital is a leading Public hospital located in Berwick, where the best Doctors practice and also is a first rate teaching hospital. Casey Hospital has one of the largest Emergency Departments in the South East of Victoria, general medical, mental health, rehabilitation, maternity and special care nursery, surgical and ambulatory care services. The hospital is a provider of paediatric services for Monash Children's and is a centre for the leading cardiac services of MonashHEART. Sadlier House is available to guests who require longer term stays for teachers, students, doctors, family of patients etc. Getting Around: Berwick has excellent transport infrastructure to support all the industry available. There is a massive bus and train network, Uber and Taxi service. Other Things to Note: Please note in order to finalise your Booking, we will be sending you our Guest Check In form which will need to be completed, including uploading of your ID within 24 hours. Your reservation is not fully confirmed until we receive the completed form and it has passed our validation. Once your Check In Form has been passed, your reservation will be FULLY CONFIRMED. If you do not complete your Check In Form within 24 hours, your reservation will be CANCELLED. IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION: 1.
