Cirencester itself is a traditional cotswold market town with a rich Roman history evident in the Corinium museum and Roman Amphiteatre. The town centre is where you will find the Abbey, local independent boutiques, the Brewery Arts Centre showcasing craft makers and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Cirencester is has the beautiful Cirencester Park home to the earl of Bathurst, its a wonderfully landscaped park that's currently free to explore and also houses the oldest Polo ground playing in the UK. Cirencester is a good location for RAF Fairford Air Tattoo, Cheltenham Races and Badminton Horse Show.
