## Space The flat is set over two floors with three bedrooms below (one single and two doubles) and a spacious sitting room and kitchen/dining room above. Large windows let in lots of light, and being set in a secluded residential area just off the Thames, the space has a calm, secure and homely atmosphere. Owned by a writer based in Mexico City, the decor is colourful and artistic with lots of pictures, books and quirky details. The bedrooms are comfortable and well-equipped and the Mexican-tiled bathrooms recently renovated to feel fresh and functional. The master bedroom, with its own private balcony, is ensuite. The second double room and single room share a bathroom with separate WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of utensils, a full sized fridge and separate freezer, pretty crockery, and a dining table that can seat up to eight people. A separate wash room adjacent to the kitchen houses cleaning tools and has a suspended air-drying rack. There is access to communal gardens below the property. ## Access Guests are free to use all areas of the house except some cupboards containing personal belongings, which will be locked. ## Interaction My home is in the hands of GuestReady, a property management team who work hard to make sure your stay is smooth and comfortable! They will be available 24/7 should you have any questions or requests during your stay. ## Neighborhood The property is set in a private and secluded residential area. There is access to communal gardens below the property and the option of weekday parking at an extra cost. Located just on the south side of the Thames over Battersea bridge, the area provides easy and quick routes to Chelsea and Kensington to the north and Clapham and Wandsworth to the south. A two minute walk down the road leads you to the hidden gem of Battersea Square, surrounded by little cafes beloved by locals and cosy bars brought to life up at night by rows of fairy lights. Battersea park is a 10 minute stroll away down the riverside, and 15 minutes on from the park leads to the brand new trendy restaurant and shop complex at Battersea Power Station. The iconic Kings Road is just 10 minutes away, equipped with some of the best shopping London has to offer, rows of restaurants and bars, and a new Everyman cinema. The closest supermarkets are the Co-Op on Battersea Bridge Road, Waitrose on the Kings Road, and ASDA, Lidl and Waitrose at Clapham Junction. A Bayley and Sage delicatessen can be found on Battersea Park Road, beside the renowned restaurants Nutborne and The Oak. A selection of upscale pubs - including The Prince Albert and Brewdog's The Duke of Battersea - are within a ten minute walk. ## Transit The house is perfectly located for buses leading into and through central London, including the 19, 170, 49, and 345. Clapham Junction (a 20 minute walk away) has overground trains and national rail services. The closest tubes are South Kensington, Sloane Square, and Victoria. Brand new Northern Line stations -Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms - opened in 2021 are located on the other side of Battersea park. ## Notes This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in anytime of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time. Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :) There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at minimum. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
