From you apartment you can hire bicycles directly and conveniently on site and cycle off, or hire paddle boats and get on board at our own jetty, or enjoy an individual boat trip away from mass tourism. Our captain Maik looks forward to it. In addition, in summer you can get the best types of vegetables directly from the farm or honey from our own bee-keeping. It is a modern and newly furnished and equipped 1-room apartment with its own generous 25m² roof terrace with terrace furniture, loungers and a grill. It has a breakfast area and a sleeping area with a modern double bed (incl. electric motor) that can be set individually, a kitchen with a dishwasher, a four-ring ceramic hob, a fridge with a freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc, along with a bathroom with a shower, WC, bath and hairdryer. A flat-screen HD TV, radio and CD player are provided. The enclosed roof terrace is furnished with garden furniture, a parasol and two garden loungers. The site is fenced and has its own pond. The private jetty allows you to get onto the paddle boat directly from the farm and set off from there. You can also borrow bicycles and set off straight from the farm. I consider myself to be an old hand of this area as I’m already the 5th generation living on this beautiful site. The feeling of belonging to the Spreewald prompted me and my Dutch husband to transform the property into a giant natural garden with a range of flora and fauna, where both people and animals can find a home. The immediate surroundings can be described as pure nature. It can scarcely get more natural than this. Water, enormous trees, meadows, typical Spreewald farms, peace and quiet! We are situated right on the Gurken cycling and hiking path, an ideal starting point for cyclists and hikers. You will look for cars in vain, as we are at the end of a cul-de-sac for public car traffic. Even so, the centre with a thermal spa, several cafes and shops is just 1km away.
