Spend your holiday here at the foot of the Bastenberg in the immediate vicinity of the forest. A private driveway through the woods via a paved road (approx. 200m) leads directly to the "Alten Forsthaus". Experience "pure nature" here in an absolutely quiet and unique location. A modern and nature-conscious space that offers the utmost relaxation. The paved road leads around the house, making it easy to turn around and on which forest animals can often be spotted at dusk. You can access the mining trail not far from the forester's lodge. Architectural monuments, tunnels and relics are signs of the area's mining past. Not far from very popular excursion destinations: Ramsbeck tourist mine (2km), Fort Fun Adventure Land amusement park (3km) with many great attractions and the only waterfall in North Rhine-Westphalia right in town (3km). The community offers a variety of food and cultural events.
