Summary: Bo Peep is a brand new and beautifully designed one bedroom shepherds hut, set in the garden of 1 Oaks Court in the heart of the popular seaside village of Thorpeness and only a stones throw from the fabulous shingle beach. Inside the shepherds hut is a comfortable, king-size bed with a smart TV mounted on the wall and bedside lights, perfect for enjoying a night in watching a film or reading a book. Underneath the bed is a built-in, slide out dining table and benches with a small kitchenette next to it, equipped with a butlers sink, small stove and wine fridge where you can relax with a glass of wine or cook a basic meal. Next door to the main shepherds hut building is a separate and thoughtfully designed shower room with walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. This shower block is perfect for when returning from a sunrise swim in the sea or a long walk along the beach. Outside there is a small patio area with a Weber BBQ and outdoor seating that makes a great sun trap to enjoy a drink and meal. One of the most amazing things about this location, is the complete tranquility - it is absolutely silent in the mornings and evenings, apart from the sound of the birds and the sea. There are gorgeous walks along the coast where you can head south towards the nearby, popular seaside town of Aldeburgh or further up the coast towards RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve and National Trust's Dunwich Heath - both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Dolphin Inn is just a minutes walk away serving excellent food using local producers, local ales and a friendly service or there is The Kitchen, a little further into the village offering light lunches, cakes, savoury snacks, teas and coffees. You can also take a short drive or 25 minute walk to Aldeburgh where there is a great variety of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops.
