Built in 1820, Villa Panigai is an oasis of style and tranquillity located in Cappella Maggiore (Treviso), immersed in the allure of history and the natural beauty of the Prosecco hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Giuseppe Mazzotti in his 1954 catalogue of Venetian Villas described it as follows: “Small, light neoclassical building at the end of a driveway, with gates on the road to Fregona. Its façade is adorned with four pilasters with capitals, a cornice and a dentelled tympanum. In the centre, an arched window with stone balcony. It is believed to have been designed by a Panigai, a priest, who was interested in architecture. In the first floor living room, under the plaster, are traces of Tiepolo-like frescoes. Garden and environs. In good condition. " (Mazzotti, 1954: 522). Between the central body of the Villa and the Barchessa is an enchanting lawn delimited by the Himalayan palms of the driveway and the winding columned balustrade with staircase that leads into the park. In the area behind the Villa is another large field with vineyards, vegetables and flowers. Guests will have the entire Barchessa at their disposal, with a dedicated driveway that ends right in front of it. In addition to this, the entire park of the estate, as well as the splendid pool area, will also be for the exclusive use of guests. The owner lives in Villa Panigai, a very reserved person who will not interfere with the privacy of the guests. Interior: Built in 1820, Villa Panigai is an oasis of style and tranquillity, not far from the historic town centre of Vittorio Veneto. It is the perfect place for organising events in the allure of history and the natural beauty of the Prosecco hills, a Unesco World Heritage Site. The elegant neoclassical architecture blends with the magnificence of a large park. Between the central body of the Villa - a splendid setting characterised by four pilasters with capitals, a cornice and a dentelled tympanum - is the Barchessa which opens onto an enchanting lawn. The Barchessa has four floors. On the ground floor, the elegant courtyard leads to the spacious entrance portico enclosed with large French windows and used as a relaxation area, equipped with sofas and billiard table. From this room you come to the staircase and the lift to the upper floors (the fourth floor is not served). The entrance hall is in turn divided into two areas; on the right is the spa with bathroom with shower, sauna, whirlpool tub and gym, (SPA from 8 am to 12 am and from 3 pm to 8 pm (hydro massage tub - sauna - gym) while on the left is the large, professionally-equipped kitchen with, next to it, the dining room with staircase leading up to the first floor. The ground floor is completed by a half bath. The staircase leads to a vast living area, furnished with pictures, sofa, TV cabinet, which leads to the hallway of the first floor bedrooms. The main double bedroom, named “Neoclassica”, is set in a sumptuous and elegant context where, amongst the candid transparencies of the draperies, languid and pensive nymphs and goddesses seem to come out of the period prints. There is a majestic four-poster bed with a large painting above it, a small sitting room and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The second double room is “La stanza del nodo d'amore” (Room of the love knot), where collections of fantastic objects signifying eternity are binded indissolubly by the love knot headboard of the bed. Continuing on, we come to the double room, “Raffaello”, with an antique print hanging on the wall that depicts the gaze of the child Raffaello resting on a romantic 19th century landscape, absorbing the energy and vitality of a precious red fabric dominating the room. The fourth bedroom on this floor is the double room “Dei cavalli e delle coccarde” (Of horses and rosettes). In this room are prints and objets d'art in theme and coloured rosettes made of satin ribbons to commemorate the awards, passion and love of a blond angel for horses. The floor is completed by a bathroom with a large shower, lined in Bisazza mosaic, with a shower rod complete with hand shower. From the hallway of the sleeping area, bthe staircase continues up to the second floor with a large living area of about 200 sq m, elegantly furnished and divided into several zones, a relaxation zone with TV, a reading zone with a large, well-stocked library, a dining zone with large table, and a kitchen zone complete with furnishings and equipment. From the large hallway with exposed wooden-beamed ceiling, you come to the sleeping area consisting of 3 double bedrooms. The first double room is that named "Dei pizzi e merletti” (Of laces), where one's gaze is captured, as if by a conjuring trick, by objects and images of times past that rotate around a Nordic-style four-poster bed. Following is the double room of "Blu Picasso"; peace and tranquillity between blue and azure brushstrokes for meditation and the flowing of energy. These 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. The last double room is that of "Tiziano” (Titian), with colourful images for contemplating the enthralling harmony of the painting and the beauty of the landscape. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom complete with a resin-lined shower in contrast to the antique style of the furnishings. The stairs continue up to the fourth floor where the tower of Villa Barchessa Panigai is located, with a small study and a terrace with panoramic view of the entire property and the surrounding landscape. Park: The fenced park of Villa Barchessa Panigai surrounds the house for about 17,000 sq m with its grassy carpet, along which winds the beautiful tree-lined and illuminated driveway in white gravel. Within the park are large trees and plants that form a suggestive natural setting at the end of which the Barchessa is seen in all its splendour and elegance. From the villa can be seen two centuries-old weeping beeches towering above the fruit trees and the fabulous hedge of hydrangeas and roses as well as a glimpse of the pond with fish and turtles; an ivy-covered gazebo equipped with table and chairs, where you can sit and relax with a good book while sheltering from the summer heat, offers unforgettable moments of serenity. The elegance of the neoclassical architecture combines with the splendour of the large park where tall trees and plants form a suggestive natural setting for strolling in the green. Swimming Pool: The swimming pool of Villa Barchessa Panigai, set in the large park of centuries-old trees, can be reached from the driveway leading to the house and then continuing across the large garden. The pool, measuring 20 x 8 m with the depth varying from 1 to 1,8 m, is lined in blue PVC and has salt purification and a steel ladder for access to the water. The sunbathing area around the pool is paved in porclain stoneware with R11 anti-slip treatment and is equipped with sunbeds. There is also a 4-seat hydromassage tub, a hot and cold-water shower, lighting both inside and outside the pool, a gazebo with table and chairs and a changing room.
