This is a beautiful location with wildlife watching right from your wrap around deck. Sit in the rockers and just enjoy the sounds of nature. Or explore the surrounding area, as we are close to SIU, Crab Orchard Lake, Giant City State Park, and Shawnee Wine Trail. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and serve your meals. With a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, you'll be able to prepare wonderful meals if you choose. For added convenience we provide a washer and dryer. A hobby farm is nearby with peacocks, chickens and other animals that roam free about the area. Therefore, a no pet policy is strictly enforced. Please note: The stairs you see in the pictures are how to access the property. Not suitable for those with limited mobility. To attract the highest quality guests, we require a signed renter's agreement and security deposit by the guest. The security deposit is $300. It is scheduled to hold 1 day before arrival and is automatically release 3 days after departure. This is used for damaged/missing property and rule violations such as pets and smoking indoors.
