This modern fully equipped townhouse is an ideal base for exploring Southern Iceland. Conveniently located - not far from the ring road but distant enough to feel peaceful - this house is spacious, light and tastefully furnished. While staying here you are close to many popular attractions, such as Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir and Eyjafjallajökull. The ferry to the Westman islands is just over an hour away and Vik about an hour and a half. Day trips to Skaftafell and Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon are also possible (Jokulsarlon is about 3.5 hours away) Reykjavik is only s 50min drive. The house is on 2 levels and has 3 spacious bedrooms and 1 ½ bath, Upstairs bedrooms have hotel quality king and queen size beds, downstairs bedroom has a bunk-bed with quality mattresses. Two extra beds available in storage for a total of 8 guests. Washing machine and dryer are available in house. A modern kitchen with everything you need, including fridge, freezer, stove, microwave and oven. A large living room and dining area comfortably seats 8 people. (additional chairs in storage for larger gatherings) TV and wireless internet available (free of charge). In this house you can relax, enjoy the fantastic view of the countryside, go hiking up the mountain Búrfell or take refreshing walks. It's ideal to stay here and take day trips driving around South Iceland and in the town Selfoss you have all the shops you will need during your trip. Don't forget to visit the local swimming pool!
