Casa Vela is a first class B&B located in Chianalea, the romantic fishing village and picturesque district of Scilla, counted among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Considered the "Venice of the South", Chianalea di Scilla is located in the heart of the Costa Viola, which owes its name to the coloration that sea waters take on for the flora and fauna that live there. The coast embraces several villages and characteristic places which, extending to the slopes of Aspromonte, enclose sea and mountains in one spectacular and unique landscape. Casa Vela is a welcoming B&B, elegantly finished and furnished with particular care, consisting of four studios of 40 m2 each, reachable through 32 steps and an elegant stone staircase, and an exclusive 80 m2 penthouse from which you can enjoy of an extraordinary sea view and it is possible to admire the wonderful iridescent colors of the Costa Viola. The studios are equipped with every comfort: well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower cabin, hairdryer and top-quality sanitary ware, capacity up to four / five beds, air conditioning, small safe, digital terrestrial TV, free internet connection and any other possible comfort that allows it to be classified first class. Casa Vela is also a Wine Bar and Wine Shop! In the heart of Chianalea, overlooking the main street of the Borgo, in ancient times, there was a barrel cellar and the wine was stored in large oak barrels. Now, until late in the evening, in the same intimate interior, which houses our Wine Bar, you can taste our special platters of typical local products accompanied by wines exclusively from the territory, and you can also buy the excellence of Calabrian food and wine by listening good live music. Seasonally we offer different services such as: organization of excursions, trekking, guided tours, guided dives with the Diving Club, fishing tourism on the "Passerelle", special boats for hunting the Swordfish, food and wine itineraries throughout Calabria, pedal bike rental electric assisted. You can consult free tourist guides, maps and books on Calabria, we offer grocery shopping, shuttle service from / to the airport, agreements with beaches and restaurants in the area, and much more. The distance from the rocky sea is 10 meters, while the distance from the beautiful "Spiaggia delle Sirene" is 300 meters, which can be covered in 10 minutes on foot, crossing the village and the port.
