The famous mountain „Mercury“ you can climb by foot or take the cablecar. In any case, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view in all directions, to the South on Baden-Baden and to the North on Karlsruhe. By foot or with the bus it takes about 10 min. to arrive at the two town’s thermal baths, the modern Caracalla Spa and the historic Roman-Irish „Friedrichsbad“, the centre of the city and the elegant and stylish shopping area „Lichtentaler Allee“. Both will bring you right into the center of town. With no. 205 you can also reach the Festspielhaus, the train station and the Euro-Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden. Free parking lots you will find alongside the surrounding roads. WLAN Internet Access is available. The access code is located on the light switch in the kittchen. Please be adviced that Baden-Baden is touristic spa town. You have to pay a tourist tax of 3.80 EUR per person per night in cash by arrival.
