Family apt. at countryside Amsterdam with terrace.
Stylish 4 p. apartment in renovated farm on the country side of Amsterdam
Completely renovated (2019) farmhouse from 1870 with private parking, just 20 minutes from downtown Amsterdam. Heating and hot tap water is produced via a state-of-the-art geothermal source. Our goal is to become total self sufficient including a gray water system. For the reconstruction we've used natural colors and (original) materials throughout the farm. The offered apartment is around 1/3 of the whole farm, but self-supporting. It has it's own entrance and parking. It's designed with a four member family in mind. Two separate bedrooms. A stylish bathroom with bath and shower. Further more a kitchen with all modern appliances such as dishwasher, (steam) oven, Nespresso coffee maker and more. A spacious living room finishes the layout of the apartment. For the more comfortable days of the year, there is the convenience of a nice terrace (accessible via a bedroom) with barbeque, dining table and lounge set. After lots of traveling and living abroad we are very happy to welcome guests from all over the world! You'll feel like you're staying in an old house with all modern amenities. You're in a village but within (20 minutes) cycle distance from Amsterdam city center! Everything you need is within walking distance; Bus stop is just 1 minute walk and takes you to Amsterdam city center in 15 minutes. Super markets; 'Jumbo' and 'Deen' Bakeries, pharmacy, butcher and a little market on Friday. National park 'Het Twiske' is around the corner; great for biking, swimming, sailing, walking, picnic, with restaurants and great playgrounds for kids.
