Fisherman's Studio in Cadgwith Cove
Fisherman's Studio in Cadgwith Cove - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom
Ideal for couples looking for a long or short stay, a one bedroom former fisherman's studio which is pet friendly with garden and courtyard, in the beautiful Cornish fishing village of Cadgwith. The cabin has a living/dining area with a woodburner . A two minute stroll to the beach and pub, cafe and shops. The studio is tucked away in the heart of Cadgwith Cove and has been used by generations of fishermen in the cove, most recently by local fisherman and artist Nigel Legge for painting and making withy pots. The studio featured in Monty Halls' 'The Fisherman's Apprentice'. It has been lovingly renovated using reclaimed materials and its charm lies in the evidence of its former uses - withy crab pots, paint on the floorboards and historic nauticalia combine with comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. The cabin is warmed by central heating and a cosy woodburning stove. There is no wifi so it really is an escape from the hustle and bustle. The studio has a garden leading from the bedroom. The front courtyard has a table and chairs and is a lovely space to enjoy a book and a pasty. The coastal walks from the village are spectacular, you may find you don't need to use your car at all.
