Located in a lovely rural setting just outside the village of Montboyer and set in over three acres of beautiful mature gardens Le Nid is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday or short break. With a minimum booking period of three nights the house is ideal for those looking for a weekend getaway, or those visiting friends or attending a wedding in the area. We are also happy to quote for longer bookings. Accommodation comprises two bedrooms (one double and one twin), two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. Boasting well planned spacious accommodation, Le Nid, with its shuttered windows, terracotta floor tiles and comfortable modern furnishings , should not fail to please the whole family. The house comfortably sleeps four adults. It has a spacious bright kitchen with dining area and a good sized living area. Both kitchen and living room have french doors leading onto the large garden terrace which is ideal for alfresco dining or barbecue's. While many guests are more than happy just to relax, unwind and read a book in the shade of one of the magnificent oak trees in the garden, or relax by the pool, there is much in the area to keep the more actively inclined busy including, but not limited to, golf, horse riding, adventure parks, jet skiing and canoeing. Start your day by popping down to the local boulangerie (voted one of the best in Charente) and picking up some of the best croissants in the region for breakfast. Finally, what better way to finish the day than head out and sample some of the regions marvelous wines over dinner in one of the many local restaurants in the area.
