Standard Lodge at Green View Lodges

Carrock Lodge has 2 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom with a wash basin unit and 1 twin bedroom and each bedroom has a TV/DVD player. There is a separate bathroom with an electric shower over the bath, w.c. and wash basin. The kitchen/lounge/diner is open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped including fridge freezer, dishwasher built in oven/hob and built in microwave and there is also a washer/dryer in the lodge. At the front of the lodge there is a south-west facing raised timber deck with outdoor furniture capturing the best of the sunshine and a garden area for guest use. The lounge has a freeview television and a DVD player and all linen and towels are included. The Lodge is heated by electric panel heaters and the windows are double glazed. The hot tub and sauna are available for use by all guests on a pre-book basis. Parking is available outside the lodge for two cars. The lodge is non-smoking but pet friendly and can accommodate up to two dogs (small/medium) for a small additional charge. Green View Lodges is a small family run lodge park offering 4 self-catering lodges and 1 self-catering cottage. All accommodation is pet friendly and we welcome furry family members! The 4 lodges all offer ground floor only accommodation whilst the cottage is split over 2 floors. Our smallest lodge can accommodate 4 people whilst our larger lodges can accommodate 6/7 people and are ideal for a family getaway. Our cottage (The Hayloft) sleeps 2-4 people and is perfect for couples looking for an escape. The lodge park is located in the small rural village of Welton just 4 miles north of the Lake District National Park, 9 miles from Carlisle and 16 miles from Penrith. Welton is also within easy reach of the West Cumbrian coast including the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is plenty of outdoor space for barbecues or just enjoying the sunset and the leisure suite provides use of a six person hot tub and three person sauna – what a way to unwind at the end of a day exploring. The local area has no shortage of activities and pastimes for all the family whether it is walking, cycling, water sports, quad-biking, shopping, cultural experiences, historical adventures or getting close to wildlife and nature. There is something for everyone of every age whatever the weather. There is plenty of opportunity to get out and about with a dog, we are just a 15 minute walk from the river and the Cumbria way from which there are lots of options for long or shot walks that may incorprate a pub! We also have a fully enclosed dog execrise area onsite for dogs to safely have a run around off lead while they stay with us. The Lodges are within easy reach of the M6 - it is just a 15 minute drive from the motorway to reach us. The Lake District National Park is just a 6 minute drive away and the Solway coast 30 minutes.
