Wake up in the mornings and inhale the views from the picture window in the master bedroom, whilst listening to eagles, owls and woodpeckers. Keep your eyes peeled for the bats after twilight. With walking paths and cycle routes straight from the house, it is conveniently located for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, but within easy reach of amenities. It is 6 minutes to the A55, 8 minutes to local shops in Bethesda, 9 minutes to Zipworld,15 minutes to llanberis and 20 minutes to some of Wales’ beautiful sandy beaches. The location of this cottage provides everything you come to Wales for, all within easy reach. The cottage itself boasts a large private, enclosed garden and parking for up to 2 cars. It has a fully equipped kitchen with induction hob, double oven and grill, fridge freezer and all the usual amenities; Smart TV, WiFi, and Bluetooth Bose stereo. On the first floor there is a huge master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed, built in wardrobe and antique vanity unit. The picture window in this room offers a magnificent view towards Bethesda and the second and third tallest peaks in Snowdonia, Carnedd Davidd and Carnedd Llewellyn. The second bedroom is a very comfortable double also with beautiful antique furniture. Bedroom three comprises of a single captain's bed with drawers for storage. The bathroom is equipped with bath and overhead shower. Downstairs you’ll find a spacious, yet cosy lounge with wood burning stove (one bag of firewood, kindling and firelighters are supplied), family games and books. After a day exploring or adventuring, relax on one of two chesterfield sofas (4 and 2 seaters) with a good book, play a board game on the coffee table with your favourite tunes on or just kick back and put the TV on. The large well equipped kitchen has a Welsh slate floor and wooden dining table. As this is our family retreat, there's everything here for you to make the finest of meals and prepare food for your next day. There's a Magimix food processor, blender, mini chopper, tonnes of ovenware and plenty of crockery and cutlery. We keep all our food prep knives sharp, nothing worse than a blunt knife! If you struggle to function without a strong coffee in the morning (as we do) there's even a Lavazza espresso coffee machine. The cottage has been lovingly furnished and boasts charm and character with its eclectic antique furniture. We are certain you'll enjoy your stay here as much as we do.
